The FlatMate team ensures that listings on our platform are genuine and up-to-date. To keep it spam-free, we only allow one requirement post per user. We also regularly monitor the posted requirements. Additionally, we have provided an option for our users to report listings that they find to be not genuine and posted by brokers. This helps us in maintaining a spam-free listing.

Furthermore, we offer services to our users where they can perform Aadhar validation and criminal case checks once they finalize their flatmate.

To delete your account from FlatMate.in, you need to go to the “My Profile” page. There, you will find the option to “Delete Account”. Just click that button, and your account along with all of your saved information will be deleted from our databases.

To post your requirements, you need to click the “Add Listing” button, which you can find on the home screen. Then, you’ll see two options on your screen: “Need Room/Flat” and “Need Roommate”. If you are looking for a room in a pre-occupied flat, click “Need Room/Flat” and fill in a few details such as preferred location, budget, etc. Otherwise, if you are looking for a flatmate for your flat, click “Need Roommate” and fill in the details.
